後頭楯は突出しない。
複眼は前胸背側方から、はみ出ない。
前胸背外片の側方は広い。
♂腹部は細くはない。
♂腹弁は側方で膨らむ。

分子系統解析では、同族のGaeaninaとは異なるcladeであることが示されている。
