Taphurini

Taphura属のみに基づく記載のため、族の定義は今後見直される可能性がある。

♂外部生殖器はuncusを欠く(いくつかの種は、anal tubeが側方に突出する)。
claspersは長細い。
thecaは根元で90°曲がっている。
upper pygofer lobesは非常に小さく十分に硬化していない。
basal lobeは大きく平らで、1つ以上の突起がある。
